I am pursuing a leadership position because I believe that it would be a great way for me to develop myself both personally and professionally. Not only do I want to reach my full potential as an individual, but also grow in order to help others reach theirs. Throughout my life, particularly in school and work settings, I have had the privilege of inspiring other individuals through leading projects, events or simply by offering words of encouragement. It is always humbling when someone tells me that they felt motivated after hearing what I had to say or learned something new through my guidance. This experience has taught me that honest communication, being open-minded and recognizing one’s potential are all key components towards becoming successful leaders. Therefore, I am seeking out further opportunities where I can practice and perfect those methods so that later on I can offer more impactful leadership skills for any organization or group of people who may benefit from them.
