I am pursuing a leadership position because I believe that it would be a great way for me to develop myself both personally and professionally. Not only do I want to reach my full potential as an individual, but also grow in order to help others reach theirs. Being in a leadership role allows you to see things from different perspectives while gaining the opportunity to lead initiatives and share your insight with others.
Throughout my life, particularly in school and work settings, I have had the privilege of inspiring other individuals through leading projects, events or simply by offering words of encouragement. It is always humbling when someone tells me that they felt motivated after hearing what I had to say or learned something new through my guidance.
